                • Obtain the most recent version of the Tool Hub for QuickBooks. Save the file to a location where it can be quickly located, such as the Windows desktop or Downloads folder. 

            Note: You can determine the version of Tool Hub you have if you have already installed it. Click the Home tab. The version will be found at the bottom. 

                • Now, open the QuickBooksToolHub.exe file that you downloaded. 
                • Accept the terms and conditions and follow to the on-screen instructions to install. 
                • To open the tool hub after the installation is finished, double-click on the Windows desktop. 

            Note: If you can't find the icon, look up QuickBooks Tool Hub on Windows and select the program. 

            Step 2 - To Run the QuickBooks File Doctor 

                • Launch the Tool Hub. Select Company File Issues from the tool hub. 
                • Click on Run QuickBooks File Doctor. The file doctor may take up to one minute to open. 

            Note: If the QuickBooks File Doctor isn't opening, Look for QuickBooks Desktop File Doctor and open it manually. 

                  • Choose the company file from the drop-down option in QuickBooks File Doctor. If the file is not visible, choose Browse and run a search to locate it. 
                • Go to the middle option, select Check your file, then click Continue
                • After entering the QuickBooks admin password, click the Next button. 
                • The scan process may take ten to fifteen minutes, depending on the file size. If the scan resolves the issue, it can still show an error when it is complete.
